Dog Training and Exercise Field Rules *
Please read these Rules and Guidelines before booking
General Rules
You must pre-book and pay for a timeslot before your visit.
Please do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your timeslot start time. This is to ensure that the previous booking has had time to get to at least the airfield before passing you.
The car park is within the field for ease of getting dogs into and out of the car. No need for leads if you don’t want one.
Please do not enter the field until your allotted timeslot.
If you are late arriving for your session, you must still leave on time.
Once in the field, please lock the gate from the inside to prevent anyone else entering the field.
You must leave the field and have locked the gate behind you by the end of your timeslot to ensure the next user can enter the field on time, and reduce the risk of passing the next user before you get back to the airfield.
Please do not allow your dog(s) to dig holes in the field. If you find holes that have been left by previous users, please mark them with one of the poles provided so that we can find them and fill them. The poles are in the car park area.
Please do not smoke in the field.
Picnics are permitted but please place any litter in the bins provided and don’t leave any food left lying around.
Other Information
It is your responsibility to pick up after your dog. Please use the bins provided for your used bags. We would prefer you to use bio-degradable bags for obvious reasons, and so we have provided these for instances when you don’t have some. Please only take what you need for use within the field.
We have provided equipment and obstacles for you to enjoy with your dog(s). Please use it sensibly and follow any instructions that are attached to them.
Please do NOT allow your dogs to wee up the equipment. Saying that, accidents do happen - if they do wee, please can you use the disinfecting water provided to wash away any scent and deter other dogs to wee in the same place.
Dogs under 12 months of age have generally not finished growing, so it is advised that they are not to use the jumps.
You are welcome to bring your own equipment/ toys to train with. Please make sure that these are all cleared up and taken away with you at the end of your timeslot as we can’t guarantee that they won’t go home with someone else!
The field is obviously a natural environment and therefore not perfectly flat - please take care when attending and wear sensible footwear. Wellies may be advisable in wet conditions.
Children are welcome to come and visit, but they must be supervised at all times.
We respectfully ask that you only drive at a maximum of 15 mph on the track to try to preserve it.
The Management does not accept liability for any accident, injury or misadventure, however so incurred.
